Becoming a College Student and Tutoring

 Part 1

     1. What is different than you thought it would be

  • College at SCC is way more independent than high school I have to manage everything myself which is a big change
    2. What are you struggling with
  • Keeping up with all the homework and finding time for everything is tough I always feel behind.
    3. What have you already changed or adjusted 
  • I’m using a planner now and breaking big tasks into smaller ones It helps me stay organized and less stressed.
    4. What's Missing from your college experience
  • I miss feeling connected with people It’s hard to make friends here so I’m trying to join clubs and get involved.

  1. Hey Haroon! Sounds like you're doing a really good job of staying organized with such a heavy workload. I agree, if it weren't for digital planners, calendars, and any "time tool" I can find, staying on track would be so much harder. Good luck with your college experience, Business and Data Science is a solid career move!
